Prior to founding The Leadership Consulting, Ravi was the managing director of SAP India Private Limited, managing director of Juniper Networks India Private Limited, the global general manager for Nortel Networks’ enterprise software business and the managing director of Nortel’s India operations.
He has a wide-ranging experience in developing strategy, building an organization to successfully execute the strategy, and building a trusted partner ecosystem. He has spoken at many industry and academic forums on leadership, innovation and developing true customer centricity.
Ravi is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and holds an honours degree in electronics and communication engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. He has received several recognitions during his distinguished career including the CEO's Leadership & Execution Award at Nortel Networks.

This is where the client and executive coach discuss the business context in which the client is operating. Discussions will be around market opportunities and challenges, organization structure, team strength and dynamics, immediate and long-term aspirations of the client.
These are sessions designed to increase the coached executive’s self-awareness of his or her leadership and communication style. Tools like 360 degree surveys and multiple stakeholder interviews will be used.
The completion of the first two steps will lead to the delineation of the areas where the coaching sessions need to focus. They broadly fall into four categories - coaching for skills, for performance, for development and for furthering the executive’s agenda.
These sessions are one-on-one and held in confidence, and will involve discussion on difficult issues being faced by the executive. They could center around business, relationships, work culture or even personal well being. The coach will provide reading assignments and other exercises in preparation for each session.
Learning is a life-long activity, and based on the client’s learning style, a continuing personal development plan will be created. This is also where a final checkpoint will be made with the client’s sponsor in the organization.
